Matt Matsudaira is a self-taught Japanese and American oil painter living in Orlando, Florida. He began painting in 2021, after being inspired by the vivid red rocks of Sedona, Arizona, where he and his wife were married. Today his passion is recreating beautiful places with intricate detail and rich colors in a version of realism that is reminiscent of Japanese animation. A key theme in Matt’s work is the harmony of divine and human creation.
